Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

In response to a thread about "working hard"

Here it is, a great explanation of why some people think they work so much harder than others at ATT:

Should I feel bad if I can finish the same amount of work in much less time than those who constantly think they are working hard because they are not working efficiently?

So many immediate supervisors do not lead or even manage. Too much reliance on the chosen few to gage the performance of the team.

Any company is only as good as your immediate supervisor. Good supervisor = good happy workers. Bad supervisor = not so good unhappy workers. T has many bad supervisors. Estimated 50/50. Good luck.

Bull, all you have to do is look around....If folks are coming in at 10:00 am and out the door by 5:00 and never miss a lunch when colleagues are taking a call they should be on but they are MIA.....they are not working as hard. Just that simple.

baffles me how some people got hired in the first place being on a 30 year training plan. not knowing how to do their job duties.

Bull S***....If folks believe they are working harder there is a reason as they just look around and see what their peers are producing or lack there of....Has nothing to do with you and your situation. I can relate as there are a lot of professional ice skaters out there..They talk a good game but produce zilch.
