Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Leadership

Where the heck is our leadership. So many issues. If my stores looked 20 years ago like they have for past couple years I would have been gone.
Maybe careless about diversity, equality and green planet and fix this company. So so sad.

If you are asked to work for free, get it in writing! Never in a million years would I do that!
People, there is life after Mondelez! Good life at that! There are so many good jobs out there that pay better! Why Mondelez management does there things is because some people allow that! Stop! If people pushed back and stood up, things would be different!

Never, ever work off the clock. You are crazy if you do. Let’s say you walk into a store to write an order, off the clock, and you slip and fall. You end up screwing up your knee or ankle anything else and you can’t work. Guess what? That’s on you. The company won’t take care of you. You did this on your own time. You will be the one paying for it with your insurance. There is absolutely no way I would ever work off the clock.

I would talk to HR or a labor board then. They can't force you to work off the clock. Huge legal liability and highly illegal.

Add off the off clock duties to admin time. Stop doing stuff for free. Tell them to kick rocks if they say anything about it.

Oh HE-L NO!!! I'm not working off the clock, even though Mondelez has tried to force it under the table.

I'm NOT working off the clock, even though it's VERY obvious that was Mondelez's goal when they took one order write a week away, and we're supposed to do the order write from our car, a parking lot, our house, etc, without any additional time given to complete the task.

Hey Mondelez??? WE SEE YOU!!!

STOP trying to make your employees work for free!!!!!!

anyone else out there been manipulated into turning off the phone and "working off the clock" because of lack of help, or because you just weren't getting it done as fast as a dm or an rms said you should?

leadership in this company are concerned only about their payday and bonus that we help them achieve! i always wondered if calling that number would matter. i kept it in my phone and kept saying one day id call but i never did and i finally gave up! i,'ve still got a lot of baggage from this myself and now i feel like im fighting for my pension! left in june, was supposed to draw in august and haven't seen a dime yet! i talk to someone new each call and recently i'm in my second week of waiting for something i was told was sent to me next day! i would walk a picket line myself if there was one near me!

Document everything! There own stupid investigations led to writing up everyone BUT me.
I left the field early one day and notified my supervisor. I was told "i needed a little note for him". Hahahahaha I said have HR send me a "little written policy"! Never before and never after has this been a policy. They make stuff up. Young kids with far too much power and stupidity.
I could go on and on, bottom line is document everything and hold them to accountability. The amount of discrepancies is mind boggling. People have become very complacent and allowed this to occur. I applaud the poster who pushed back, that is the only way to bring about change. This "cover up" unfortunately has permeated the organization and goes all the way to the top.....don't back down, they are counting on that.
The "BI" is business integrity. There is a 1-800 number that will connect you to a nice group of people in Costa Rico. They will spend a lot of time "investigating" and then say the company did nothing wrong. They, just like HR all get their paychecks from Mondelez, don't give up.

Yep, soon as i launched a complaint the rdr and dm showed up in like 2 days. All this support I couldn’t get, magically appeared. Now they trying to catch me slipping so hard it’s laughable.

Couple questions if you dont mind. What is BI? I'm a 28 year employee and looking at early retirement next year. How early did you go? Using retiree insurance?

They are at the bar or sleeping with the new hires...at least our management. Now if you call them out on something, they will be out in force. They love to retaliate, although they claim they don't allow it. First time I saw my RDR in years was after I opened a ticket with the BI team, and then saw management quite often.
They were so considerate that they sent merchandising support into my stores where they strictly adhered to merchandising standards, to intentionally violate standards in an attempt to write me up. Thank goodness for cameras and store management that saw what was going on, it was clear on the tapes too.
Don't think management isn't busy...they are, just doing the wrong things!
Thank you Mondelez, early retirement is great!
