Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Return to office with face b-a

So we are having delta now. Next, we will have lambda which is even more fetal and contagious. Possibly in 2022 we will have even more kinds of variants. I guess we have to wear face b-as to go back to the office but why we have to do that if we can work efficiently at home???
I just think its difficult to breathe with that face b-a covering the nose for 8+ hours #ICantBreathe

Yup, you're right -- COVID wasn't the leading cause of death last year here in the US, at least according to The Journal of the American Medical Association. According to their numbers, it was the fourth leading cause in 2020 -- below cancer and above unintentional injuries. Of the 11 leading causes of death presented on their chart, COVID is the only cause that can be prevented with a vaccine.

Not compelling enough? Rest assured that another variant will arise and be more deadly than either OG COVID or Delta -- that's evolution at work.

PS: Let's thank God that it was COVID and not, say, Ebola that swept through the country. Half of us would be dead by now, due strictly to idiocy. On second thought...

Laugh at you for the comments on having to wear masks. They don’t think you should RTO any more than you do.

Health care workers who wear double masks and a face shield for over 12 hours a day at times would laugh at you.

Not talking about you specifically OP, but there is a lot of 'selective fear" out there. Believe it or not, COVID was not the leading cause of death last year, and it won't be this year either. Take care of your heart and your immune system and if you're under the age of 60 you don't have nearly as much to worry about as you've been led to believe. Media has always liked to grab ratings by creating as much sky-is-falling chicken little-ism as they can. Falling into that trap can be lethal all by itself. TLDR: don't worry, be happy, and healthy.

You all have fun wearing masks 8 hours or more a day in the office! I am a former employee, and I am SO GLAD I left the Schitt Show that place was! Still stuck in 1991 they are. Then to make matters worse, they are gonna have you all sheep wear a mask 8 to 10 hours a day at your desk to make you all miserable. I'm sure that will really improve productivity compared to work from home?! Hahahaha. Gawd, I don't miss that he!!ho-e at all!

Everyone knows the real reason masks are being pushed is to avoid bad breath.

I can't stand wearing a facemask and will NOT do it for 8 hours a day. Its inhumane. We are not built to be rebreathing our exhalents and bacteria back in all day.

As to the replies below - where I am masks are not required. Except in county offices. So, its relative freedom here and I love it!!

And yes, when on other people's property - they control the mask policy and if I have to wear one to grocery shop, I do. Simple as that. But, it comes off as soon as I walk out the door!

WF making us sit in hotel cubes, with others' germs....wow how yesteryear. Someone needs to get a clue! Saul already said we were between 5-20% MORE productive working remote. So why chainsaw wants us to mask up and go in is beyond me.

“He retuned to the office, caught a breakthrough case of Covid after observing all safety precautions, and died so Wells Fargo could pay out dividends and ridiculous executive compensation.. but we work better together.🤷🏻“ I’’m preordering my tombstone now. Does that about cover it?

Do you go the store and do shopping?
Do your kids attend school in person?
Do people work in bank branches?
Do you go out to eat and have people serve you food?

If you've turned into a homebody it's time to work on your irrational fear, everything changes with time.
