Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Who thinks Deli should take over rotisserie chickens again? It is way to much on HMS associates.

If our cafe associates had to float around, cafe would close. There's only four of us, total.

I bet the people who gave the first reply a thumbs down live by the mantra "That ain't my job" but wonder why they never get promoted, never get associate of the month, never even gets their day off requests approved.

You were given a job offer. You accepted it. If you feel the work of Sam's club is beneath you, you know what to do. Until then, try to be a decent human being and help wherever you are needed.

Our cafe associates float around our store as well. They float around talking to the produce associates, they float out the door for one of their many breaks, they float to the backroom to look at boxes, they float everywhere but the cafe. Or they float home because they were once again exposed to covid and take advantage of the days off, for the 3rd time.

Hms, cafe and rotisserie float around in our store..whoever has the most associates that day, helps the area in the greatest need. Add bakery to that if bakery needs help. Front line helps bakery/cafe. Business needs is where the areas with the most staff are directed.

All fresh Associates should be helping wherever needed. It doesn't matter your job code.

The last few people hired for rotisserie have got in the door to do that job, and decided after 1 hour that it's to much for them to do. This after being given a full-time position that took others years to get. They claim open availability, ability to lift over 50 lbs, able to twist, turn, and able to jump tall buildings in a single bound, all not true.
