Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Mondelez does not deserve great employees

Do you agree that Mondelez has too many great employees who could be much more appreciated in some other companies? When I hear that some great employee has left, I am happy for them as if I was the one who found a new job and left. This is not a place for great people. They can only waste their potential here.

Only thing to do is to join the bakeries in strikes. Shut them down completely until we get a fair shake or. Quit

This company treats their employees like peasants!
It’s very sad the way upper management acts!
I hope that DSD ends soon!
I hate to lose my job and see my fellow colleagues lose their jobs, but we cannot continue to go on like this!

I worked hard to get promoted because I really enjoyed the work and the environment....boy did that change! Almost 15 years later the culture had changed so much and the environment was SO toxic I could not wait to get out! I waited till the right time and left with a lot of satisfaction.
My advice to anyone, KEEP LOOKING! This may very well be the worst place to work. You are NOT rewarded for your hard work, expected to work any amount of hours (unless you are a fav), and are treated like a dog.

There are a few great employees left that have worked here for a long time, and have dedicated their skills and time to Mondelez.

It only makes sense for those people to ride it out, instead of leaving now because of how long they have already dedicated themselves.

Leaving now, when they are closer to retiring, versus an entire lengthy working career ahead of them makes no sense.

For all the newer employees looking for their long term careers? This is not the place to do it.

Times have changed. This is not a great job, or career path anymore.

Sad, but true!

i was happy for 10 years, but this last reset (so to speak) ended up being a deal breaker for me. Ive got a lot of things that still eat at me about this company and the things they push their associates into and ill probably never get over being angry! I dont say anything because no one in a position of power cares, and i know that hundreds of others across the country made sacrifices too, every day! What makes me the maddest is that now i feel like i made a fool out of myself on a regular basis because i thought i was important to that company! Now i cheer for the union and id walk a picket line if there was one here in my state

Nothing more than a paycheck for those I used to work with at Mondelez, not a single one enjoyed it. Once they find another opportunity they all leave. I didn't know a single person who was happy in their job at Mondelez...very telling.
