50% discount is still too much. Ultimate package that we get now is $151 per month plus tax. That's the regular price after the 1st year discount. HBO Max and other premiums are another $15 per month. Gonna spend $90 a month for 250 cr---y channels of infomercials and reality programming?

OP, No.....An example of cancel culture would be you quitting because you disapprove of ATT and you throw your gauntlet (or beer can in your case) to the ground and declare your independence. Show them how you really feel.....cancel them. Please.

Better options are available on the market. Both price-wise and functionality, T is years behind most providers in technology as well as customer support. There is a reason T looses MILLIONS of subscribers on a monthly basis.

I shall use my cancel culture on DTV. At 50% still isn’t worth it to me.

Learn to stream! No need to use DTV, even with a discount. Re-evaluate all of your recurring monthly expenses, wireless and HSI. Better value for your money outside of T.

Rumors are that any employees (directv and at&t) that had Directv, U-verse, or Directv Stream before 8/28 will keep a discount. Rumors are also that Directv Stream and Directv will move to a 50% discount 4th quarter. U-verse is already 50% discount. No signups were allowed before the deal closed except for bargained for employees who could supposedly still sign up until 8/28.

Count on losing it, or at least the majority of it
Just another way to fu-k over employees and drive attrition

The bigger question is why would you want to? In my are Spectrum has a higher speed for 15dlrs cheaper than our Ucrap we sell. Tmobile has 4 lines for 120 with taxes, thats cheaper than What i was paying T with the employee discount LOL…Dtv is mehh i can live without it, most of what i do i available on Streaming anyways…

Plus just out principal alone i refuse to give T any of my $ …

Well, expect Directv to lose big chunk of customers once concession ends. I will be first one to dump it and take down this ugly satellite dish from my house.

Video

With the transition of our video products to the

newly formed company DIRECTV, employees can
no longer enroll in discounted video service offers
through our program.

Employees who were already enrolled in a video

discount when DIRECTV transitioned to a standalone entity will continue to receive their discount
through the end of 2021.

The only discount that is really guaranteed is -POTS. You have to be an OT'er to get that. I would assume they would want to prop up the streaming numbers.
