Small Rebellion Against the Stink? Service Anniversary Celebrations Revived in my org...

Well, well, well - do we have a small rebellion going on here? Remember the Stink stopped all Service Anniversary Celebration a while back? Just another way of the Stink saying F U C K you to all the old timers - we don't need any of them - well except for me!

My 7th level just quietly reinstated them for his org. If my memory is correct, the dollar values is equivalent to what you used to be able to spend on your service anniversary dinner celebrations. No gifts from that catalog though. My boss man just sent me a note that I should immediately take advantage of this. He also added that if you did not want to go out to a restaurant for a dinner celebration, that you can instead buy food or supplies for your in-home personal celebration instead.

Now if they only would do a mutiny and make the Stink walk the plank!

I'm wondering what the he-l a 7th level is. Officers are 6th level(above VP), sr. managers are 5th level(VP). John Stankey is a corporate officer, 6th level. There is no such thing as a 7th level. And service anniversaries were never stopped, bad info.

Im guessing you’re not a ATT employee. Service anniversary celebrations and catalog gifts never went away. They were modified for COVID for awhile but never went away???

Might want to read up on HR Onestop. Celebrations are still allowed, and they’ve added allowances due to COVID (ie a family dinner). Catalog gifts are still available as well. Nothing changed. Maybe it was your org who decided to sc--w yall over.

Seems to be a disconnect on what workgroups believe they are entitled to. Should be a benefit website that clearly states what employees are entitled to. It makes me wonder if employees are unaware of this site.

Just send eligible employees a $500.00 gift card. Much easier to manage and the employee can spend however or wherever he/she wants, in addition to selecting a gift from the catalog.

If this is true I suspect your 7th level's days are numbered. No one goes up against Stankey and wins. I wonder why your 7th level wants to die on that hill?
