Stepping stone

I see that some people here regret that they ever worked for Honeywell. I don't. The only question is how much did you manage to use this company as a good stepping stone? I made the most of every opportunity to learn as much as possible and now I have managed to get a great offer.

Admittedly this is why I am still at Honeywell. 2 promotions in a short amount of time, and mostly where I should be for salary. I’m definitely doing work at a level above my title, so I know after a two years in this role I could be at the next level externally and then really invest myself where it matters.

Just remember that for every person like you there are usually ten that served as the stones you stepped on as you moved up.

Excellent, congratulations, you did the smart thing. if more people did that there'd be less carping on this board.

@OP, aren't you adorable. You thought to do something that never occurred to the rest of us - learn as much as you can. Thanks for sharing.

Stepping stone? More like a millstone around your neck. Stepping stone if you are a new grad. Anyone in their 40's or older, forget about it.
