I see people complaining all the time about being understaffed but our location is not among them. We always have enough people and when somebody leaves we promptly get a replacement. I thought this was the norm but I'm now starting to think that we just might have the few remaining managers who care.

We are currently trying to fill 23 positions..... Super understaffed everywhere and their fix while we wait to hire anyone is have merchandisers do deli, club pick up, ring, and do carts.... I'm tired of doing 3 people's jobs. And when they have the new people coming in making $15 an hour, like all of us now, more will quit because they are severely under appreciated. They should give all of us a $1 raise now!
They honestly should have kept some form of PTC. A lot of staffing issues are because it’s difficult to sit in front of a computer and phone. Between Workday and calling people from a 3rd party career website. That can take a few hours. Very few leads and managers, as long as they work, have that time to spare. It would be nice if home office realized that you need someone to help take care of the people. New and old alike.

You have a good manager. Your overall numbers must be good to support your staffing levels.
We are horrendously understaffed. So much so that there is a sign up sheet in the break room for anyone wanting extra hours in various positions. We also cannot keep anyone employed. People work for a week or two and then quit due to poor treatment by management. We have been understaffed for several years now.
Zero clubs are properly staffed.
