Just got a FedEx alert that a package was dropped off and is currently in route for delivery to me by August 5th (Thursday) from Tucson, AZ to Dallas, TX.
I haven’t bought anything.
Not expecting any packages.

the boxes for your computer come from Missouri. they are horribly backed up. it took nearly a month after my layoff to receive my return box. the severance package is all online. you never mentioned who sent the package?

Oh no, not the ok’ FedEx chestnut. They don’t mail the package THEN tell you. Besides didn’t WF switch to online packages.
Could be your new company charge card....not sure why they don't send it first class like they do every other CC they send out, but the seem to want to waste money on FedEx overnight for the replacement cards.
Your manager informs you first. The only FEDEX package you'll receive is to ship your computer back to them.
Unless your manager talks to you first, then it's not a layoff
