Has HON ever been a company that fosters an environment where work/ life balance is valued? I wouldn't say so. I am almost certain that this is the least important thing for them, and it seems to me more and more that they would prefer that we only work and have no life.
I don't know if HON is the worst company in terms of work/ life balance, but it is certainly at the top among the worst in this regard. I’m definitely leaving because I realized I’ve turned into a boring man who just works all the time.

"Honeywell widows" a phrase coined by our wives during 777 development.
Honeywell has no work life balance, even though leaderships implemented programe and trying to build a culture promoting work life balance, but it's all for show.
Ask around any employee, we are putting in more hours each day over the standard to meet the never ending workloads targets deadline set by the people managers top down.
I retired early.
Went to a new company.
Learned that even if the new company does the same c--p I don't mind as much.
Taking control made ME better.
Staying at honeywell had been a weakness. Almost a prisoner mental state.
Take control. The company is not important.
You are what matters.
I am a wife of a Honeywell employee and they are awful with work/life balance. I hate that my husband has to start going back into the office soon. If Honeywell would look at logged time by employees that have been at home, they have worked much longer. My husband works an average 10+ hours a week more for Honeywell bu being at home. Even though he works more hours he is still here with the family and help when I need it. His hours of working are about to go down just because of the commute to work. Honeywell you make no sense…ever!

I LOVED working for Honeywell until 2006.
I built amazing things with friends.
Then came ge, allied, six sigma and a mindset that money mattered more than talent. A misconception that great talent was a commodity and that “labor should be done in the cheapest place it is possible to perform that labor”.
Dehumanizing, soulless, work places were created to serve that end. The work of life times devalued and shipped off in the name of an endless search for cost reduction when actual new products where needed.
When the company got around to trying to create new products it was too late. The talent was gone.
I had a VP who called early meetings on Saturday and Sunday to just F with everybody.
