Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

UNION

I was raised to think unions bad, protect the lazy, with modern labor laws they aren't needed.

How times have changed.

I will consider paying dues, just for chance to get a labor organizer into Allstate. The abuses are ridiculous and beyond unethical, they are ILLEGAL and violation so many insurance laws its staggering. The exempt FLSA violations alone are amazing but like CA you win the war lose the battle and the company moves business to AZ and prob celebrates at a champagne party at the Sugar Bowl.

The abuses I see occurring and the unethical and illegal decisions being made against policyholders shock me. I cannot believe what has happened to the Sears Roebeck Co. in the hands of scumbag psychopath leaders.

I get emails telling my what LAWS to vote for, and the are never labor laws so drop it aholes. My personal, social, political, religious, and moral beliefs are my own and the overreach of Allstate to dictate the new wokeness makes me wanna pu-e,

"Lets Make Lots of Money" thats your market strategy? Pet Shop Boys. Strap yourself in we are in for a ride!

@ezz+1bvJSJJa if they're naive enough to think a union is a good idea, they probably didn't read the fine print either.

You union organizers should read the Allstate policy manual. If you unionize, they will fire you.

I posted this in the other union thread, but still relevant...

Have you worked for a union? I have and hated it.

They promise better pay, better benefits, but any time a new labor deal was struck, the raise we'd get was cut into by dues increases. It's a fu----g scam. Instead of just the company screwing you, you get another layer of id--ts fu----g you over.

They also didn't prevent our benefits from being cut yearly, they didn't stop sh---y management from making bad decisions and they held back innovation because we couldn't update processes because of protected employees and their age restricting then from updated training.

Hi The commercial lets make lots of money is exactly what Tom Willson said " I think he said bunch of money" Make no mistake in his last speech he talked about Allstates investment and even admitted Allstate cant break into the independent channel. Stating that agents were just modems and they can do better. The company wants to be a Gieco - Allstate doesn't want anything but money, they even stated that they are rolling out the new technology even if it doesn't work because speed is important. Or is it that they don't want anyone to look at it and state the obvious it will not work the way its laid out. Glen Shapiro came from liberty they slashed renewal to 5% prices are competitive but they still lose market share and in a few years they will take there stock, cash it out and run. If your a agent take August off take a break maybe they will notice. If your an independent take notice sell a policy and see your book cut in half in a few years

Crazy thing is, only defense Allstate needs against Union organizing is treating employees well. They can’t do that. So Union talk starts happening. Doesn’t HR get that? Treat employees well, no Union talk.

Union isn't going to happen.

If you don't like how allstate is going, get a new job, unless you're one of the useless and lazy that needs a union to protect you from unemployment.

With how delusional you union id--ts are, it's no wonder allstate keeps cutting
