As long as Stankey is CEO will the morale ever improve? It seems that most employees despise Stankey and his ego. He has proven that he is not capable of leading T. He has single handedly thrown billions of dollars down a rat ho-e. I realize there are a few defenders of Stankey and his inept management, but most are trying to jump to the next level. I hope he fills his pockets with cash and moves on. Would love to see him as CEO of TMOB, maybe then T could move into number two position behind VZ.

As long as Stankey is at helm, employee morale will continue to dissipate. He has shown disdain for the employee and is better at communicating this disdain than Stephenson. The fact that he states employees shouldn't expect to make a career out of any one company coming from someone who has worked at the company for 30+ years plus the constant "in order to be more competitive we aligned benefits to match the marketplace" shows his 'this applies to you, not me' and 'you all are sheep' mentality. His ego will bring escalate the destruction of this company
Selling DIRECTV will happen shortly, but WarnerMedia will take about a year. If AT&T can keep its head down and keep momentum in both postpaid mobility and Fiber in that one year, things will start to feel different at that time. Aside from that, if HBO can keep its momentum going, it also relieves pressure in the meantime.

- Stank gets fired, sent to jail, is in a plane crash, or somehow otherwise is removed from his position
- You leave (voluntarily or not) and get a new job where you realize that T is an abomination of a company, the culture is toxic, the so-called 'leadership' is inept, and the service is crumbling

Moving to T-Mobile won't happen. Mike Sievert and John Legere both worked at AT&T at one time but they would not want Stankey at T-Mobile. We hoped Singer at Elliott Management could have done something to overthrow these id--ts of Stephenson, Stephens and Stankey but Stankey survived. Now our longshot hope is the Board grows some big ones and gets rid of him . . .very long shot
