My wife was surplused over 3 years ago and we are glad she took that offer. What is happening at AT&T right now? They are splitting off all of there TV - DirecTV, Uverse, etc into a different company with part being owned by a private equity firm. They are selling Warner Media to Discovery (watch Discovery make it work). They are eliminating medical benefits for many managers across the country if they don't retire this year. They are freezing pensions for many. There is still surplus going on in many divisions - especially finance. If any of that affects you then I suggest you take a look at this eBook.
