Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

How many people are actively job hunting?

I just wonder how many people here are actively looking for opportunities in some other companies? I tried to go to Costco and unfortunately I didn't succeed which totally crushed my spirits. Everyone I know here has been totally demoralized lately, and everyone is in a hurry to get out of here as soon as possible. This company doesn’t care about that unfortunately, because this is a company that doesn’t think about long-term goals.

I'm only at Sam's for the benefits. I'm working a part time job also that pays WAY better than Sam's, unfortunately the weekly hours are not consistent and there are no benefits.

Southeastern Michigan is real bad. They are targeting older long term partners. They want the TL'S to coach them out. Doesn't matter how they work.
I am looking at jobs daily. The right one will come.

In the mean time anyone feeling threatened or harassed needs to call ethics. It can be done anonymously.

I’m looking. There’s not one hourly employee here that says they’re happy with this company and like working here. Says a lot about the company cause when i started most said it was an okay job. They also can’t hire anyone cause this place has a bad rep for mistreating employees. Been that way past two and a half years for the hiring prob. Past three and a half this place went downhill fast. I’m still only getting 11.60 an hour too. This place is a joke.
