This is a regressive company, it isn’t about whether working remote is productive or not. It is about about power and control. It’s the precedence that management has control over the workforce. Silly, these experts never figured out work load management. There are some who have little work and bored to death; some working OT for months without end. And yet, return to work at the office is so critically important but yields no significant results. Bet you are getting a tons of emails and being preached at every single town halls and team meeting.
How about planning and giving people challenging and meaningful work so they can be proud of what they do and the company that they work for?

They MUST not allow the non-management workforce to work from home, They must constantly be monitored to make sure they are not smoking a cigarette or eating a snack while working...
They MUST allow most of their fresh-out-of-school management clerks to work from home. They have to be able to hide the fact that those kids have no knowledge, no experience, no clue and are paid three times more than they will ever be worth and we don't want the little babies to be embarrassed around people who actually do know the business, the work and how to actually perform a job..
Work is meaningful as long as the check clears.
Collaborate more, get some more worthless training. Go T space or Q or Quorum or whatever their last BS is. Get some diversity training.
