Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

360 Feedback Time

This process stinks! Easy to throw folks under the bus when comments are anonymous.

So much for anonymous on the feedback! I got a thank you email in response to the review I left for a peer. HR double-talk once again. My comment to my peer was constructive....not mean or dishonest (thank goodness!!).

regarding replacing quantum, i read somewhere, maybe here, that it'll be only a 1 year thing. About feedbacks..., I'm not doing it. I have seen messages from HR saying it's optional.

I shouldn't be rating my peers. That is my manager's job. I have to work with these people, why would I poison that relationship.

Agree with most comments here. Nothing but excels for myself and my peers. Everyone rates everyone highly. Good team here. Quantum sucks. It's most stupid performance mechanism we have ever used. It's difficult to use and no one I know likes the 'social media' aspect of it. It will die and be replaced by 2023 at latest

If you have to tell people you are a high performing guy, you probably not very high performing.

Craft are getting request to rate their 1st level without their knowledge.

He'll get excels across the board. Now going to S#$T on him, he has it worse then we do.

I was drop dead honest in my review of my 1st line. He is someone I look up to and my review reflected this. Unfortunately his job is not one that I aspire to do. One would think that the company would want to promote from within. AT&T "leadership" has proven this to be the direction one should go.

Funny how some guys go around telling people they do a great job but others around them don't share the same feeling.

Actually, i am a high performing guy. . Have alway received the highest rating and a generous bonus. We were instructed to solicit feedback from our immediate team. Guess I pi---d someone off along the way.

Man you really must be hated for someone to actually give you negative feedback on our social media site quantum. Didn’t you pick your peers who would give you feedback anyway?

Everyone I get a request from gets “Excels” across the board and I note what I perceive to be their strengths on the performance feedback section. Quantum is a joke just like it’s predecessor from the 90s called 360 Feedback.

Are you worried because you are a underperforming guy that complains a lot?

You must really be horrible at your job for people to go out of their way to provide negative feedback.

Not seeing that at all. Everything is positively glowing, and I am doing the same for those that requested my feedback.
