Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

After 4 years, DXC becomes the "new DXC" WOW!!!! What a result

After 4 years DXC becomes the "new DXC". That seems to me a poor result.
Sure we have a new logo, but the problems are still the same.

  • Low wages (please Mike, don't be mad).
  • Toxic Deals. Where an employee has to work on projects but can't put them in CATW because there are no revenews on the deal.
  • to bill, to bill, to bill it is always the same mantra.

In short, everything that Mike and the new management had to solve but they continued in the same old way.
But now there will be nice t-shirts.

Man 1: Out with the old and in with the new.
Man 2: But not a single thing has changed.
Man 1: Ohh.

You can't polish a tu-d, but you can roll it in a bit of glitter.

You want a T-shirt? What a fool, I would burn it! They want us to pay for DXC LOGO stuff and advertise for free. I say DUCK (replace the D with an F) them

The DXC logo does look cleaner - a bit of speed implied, mirrored effect similar to CSC and easier to see the letters. Though the web page of everyone stood on a field with "We take care of our people", that made me cringe (and I don't even work for DXC but even I am well aware of how DXC has butchered its workforce in the past 4 years.

I'd have re-phrased it to something along the lines of providing staff opportunities or releasing potential. I'd have certainly stayed clear of words like "Clear" for at least a few years when the dust has settled. I read that DXC are still aggressively caring about staff in Germany as part of their staff caring optimisation programme.

the tagline 'where people want to work' should be caveated with graduate intake stats for FY 21, otherwise it might imply existing staff want to work there too.
