Hybrid work model

CBU has announced we will be doing the hybrid work model of three days a week in the office as/when we return. Have any other BU’s made an announcement yet?

Heard there was talks of full work from home. That’s what the question on the employee survey was about. If you said hybrid and 9/80 is not enough then that’s the first push for 100% work from home.

In office 3 days a weeks still ties me to a geographical location. Let me work from home and I can leave the geographical area and I will even take a pay cut.

Implementing safety measures won't do any good as long as the freedumb crowd is still throwing their little fits.

Hybrid is best of both worlds as it brings people back but also let’s them work from home a bit if that suits them better.

Three days a week in the office is enough time grouped together to catch Covid. That’s if you really think Covid is such a serious problem. The fact is it’s not the Black Plague it was made out to be. Bring back everyone to the office to work the full week. Employ safety measures if the company deems it prudent, like socially distancing as much as possible, wearing masks in conference rooms and such. But don’t do things at half measure. Either we all continue to stay home and work remotely or we all get back into the office. Hey, management, make up your damn minds already and inform the workers what’s going to take place. Show the leadership your paygrade is paying you.

Yes, many that are back are already working the hybrid model. It’s way better than commuting 5 days a week.

It's only a matter of time before your 'part time' in the office will result in not needing an office (after all, your BU is paying CEMREC for the full week, not just 2 or 3 days). Then, there will be an office pool, with first-come first-served Levittown-like generic offices stocked with an inviting desk and docking station, maybe a trash can. Staplers and tape dispensers will become the new status symbols, or maybe you just bring your own.

Wow Trudeau locked that place up so tight that you haven’t heard what has already been rolled out months ago!!! Probably already stocking up on antifreeze for that upcoming cold winter. Just watch out how much you consume and tell that PM to pound sand!!

If you have time to regularly check for updates on other BU’s home pages and attend the multiple town halls, you don’t have enough work to do.

Same for other BUs. Its garbage when we could be fully remote. Chevron is behind the times though in many areas.

HEY OP, have you been in hybernation of still in your winter sleep up north in CBU? Check company announcements and townhalls once in while before posting something as ridiculous as you did.
