Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Doing your best vs. doing the “minimum”

We all know that no job is secure here. Our number could get punched at any time. I’ve heard a few colleagues say they will do the bare minimum. Fair enough. I myself still keep on doing my very best - and I’ll tell you why. Doing the minimum is a sure fire way to get you laid off (I’m not ready for it yet) and doing my best will increase my chances of staying at my job longer. I don’t know about any of you but I don’t want a gap in between jobs.

I want them to let me go, even with the low severance package.

A little extra in the pocket to go on my way with.

Old Saying, "I was looking for a job when I found this one."

I'm not scared, I'll make it, I've got skills, I'm employable, buh-bye Mondelez, YOU SUCK!!!

you guys arent wrong but youre talking to someone who walked away around two months ago mostly because i heard the water circling the bowl.I could have maybe played the game a little longer but i said sc--w it! Pride isnt about kissing bu-t! I was proud of what i did every day but i was smart enough to know i couldnt do it alone! Its not worth the grief and its not enough money! It isnt easy being the only person a customer can complain to and i didnt want the long hours...............but i left! Doors still open guys...like you said they wont miss you! Its a cr---y way to run a company , but look at all the new companies than mondelez has purchased. Thats what we are being pushed for!

I'm sorry to say that hard work, dedication, and knowledge has absolutely nothing to do with being promoted or keeping your job here. It mostly has to do with your physical appearance. This company is completely and totally focused in the wrong direction on how to cultivate a strong workforce. Also, when as a company, you can't even ship core brands like honeymaids, oreos, multipacks, etc..but instead focus your energy on sending emails about yoga classes and other nonsense, it becomes clear that we are hopelessly lost and it's too late to fix it.

I used to put in hard work until I realized it is not rewarded here. Never thanked or recieved praise for anything, yearly raise are capped at what 4 percent and that almost impossibleto get? Monthly bonuses are horrible and we are some of the lowest paid sales reps in the industry. Pride in your work means a hurting back, sore body and hands, and getting home at 8 pm. Not worth the sever quality of life sacrifice for nothing in return.

Bu-----t! People take pride in their work when it is rewarded. Don't blame the worker for not giving a sh-t when the company doesnt.

Maybe you get a chubby thinking about at a $00.25 raise but most people dont.

Throw in some real opportunites to make money, and watch people really take pride in their work.
