I can't afford to lose my job right now, and if the sale goes through I most likely will.

I am hearing they are selling everything but the legacy Quest states and Florida.
From what I’ve read, lumen wants to keep the states where there is overlap with fiber and enterprise. Mostly legacy Qwest. The more rural areas that have less overlap are the states likely to be sold. Mostly legacy Centurylink
I'm hearing Tn, NC , SC , & Fl
Has anyone heard what states Apollo may be interested in?
The most recent investors who bought it out of bankruptcy did not in fact buy "the company." They bought just some of the assets. This meant they could dump that entire union-based labor negotiation system:
By buying the Hostess assets out of bankruptcy, Apollo and Metropoulos took them on free of employee benefits and other labor obligations that had weighed down the company.
Rumor is Apollo wants Florida and South Carolina. Who knows but the thieves in charge of the train wreck.
Well if history shows anything, when you don't think it can get any worse it has, if the sale happens we will be under yet another company that has no experience running a National Network, what I have seen is they do a lot of Entertainment.

Rumor is the money states in the legacy Qwest, (Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Washington, Utah) other states don’t bring enough revenue. For the $5 billion I would target those states mentioned, the others find another other buyer
Prayers for all. If we are sold, the new company might have to hire people with the reckless approach Lumen took to make us look like we are worth acquiring.
So, what areas are being sold to Apollo Global?
Why why why wouldn't you already have been looking for a job???
Sorry to say it’s going to happen start looking for a new job, I hear they are freezing any vspp for the rest of the year and are trying to close the deal with the new buyer. Regarding stress I can’t help you there but looking for something less stressful I guess. Expect lots of management to be let go and lots of techs to be let go in the beginning of the the year.
I don't need this stress when I'm struggling with my health as it is.
