For over a year I’ve had that “sinking” pit in my stomach each time Sunday night came to an end. I’d feel anxious and dread coming into work on Monday’s with a passion. I used to love working here at one time but it’s no longer the company I enjoyed so much. I hated that my weekend was spent worrying about the upcoming week. That’s when I knew it was time to move on.

I left in June after being with USB for 7 years... sinking stomach feeling on Sunday's the last 3 years I was there. Get out if you can.
I've worked at lots of companies but never felt this same exact feeling until I worked for USB. They specialize in making employees uncomfortable, stressed, and unhappy. Lots of dedicated, loyal employees all looking for to the first moment that they can retire or find a new job. Being miserable is what management wants from everyone. So many unhappy people working at USB.
Oh wow. I’ve been feeling the same thing for over a year too. I thought it was the pandemic but I recently realized it’s the work situation. I was moved to a new team last year and nobody was paying attention whether I was doing my job well.
I left US Bank in February. Haven’t looked back. Employee benefits suck, ceo sucks, the company has no future, anyone can get laid off anytime.
Don't let that feeling subside. Use it to fuel your search for a new job that brings back your joy. I stayed at USB because I thought that feeling was just me in a funk. US Bank doesn't care about you. Things are not going to get better after whatever crisis they are blaming right now. There will always be some new emergency. It will never change.
