I get how some of you are here to bash everything and anything, but thinking about this for a bit...and reading your posts...I haven't see anyone clearly articulate what is so bad about this deal. We're getting paid (some of you seem to think that we're laying out tons of dough for this) handsomely for allowing Dish customers to use our network. They are building their won 5G network across the country. That network won't be ready for prime time for a while. They were going to need to pay one of the major carriers to use their network. Why not us?
@1qtw+1bU4atkO AT&T can show the world it learned from the mistakes it made with DTV. The MVNO model is great because AT&T can't poison Dish with its culture.
The DTV teams were shocked at how slow AT&T moved to roll out any software changes and update its product offerings. The telco mindset doesn't work in that industry, so we should have been more hands-off as DTV did its own thing.
All that matters is Stankey collects $22 million a year and controls the BOD.

Of course, you won't reply, because you don't know anything, and the clear fact is this isn't a good deal at all. Not only is Stink not taking care of employees or customers, but he's continuing along his path of incompetent and ridiculous business decisions fueled by arrogance and narcissism.
And after considering it, T and Dish are the perfect partnership. Both are in last place in their respective businesses.
What's next? Is he planning to buy Dish? Charlie will get the best of Stankey on this deal.
The key words are "nonexclusive agreement". Customers are always free to choose. This is going to be a repeat of losing DTV subs quarter after quarter, let's see how many Boost subs decide to walk and not deal with Stankey.

It’s so pathetic, having to cut deals here, sell real estate there, lay-off employees everywhere and on and on because Rat Randall and Stinky couldn’t get their sh-t together and invest in 5G and Fiber on time. All that garbage about “vision 2020” for nothing, the whole point of that was they wanted everyone on wireless by now and they couldn’t even bother to spend on the spectrum and low band YEARS ago. Why are these upward failing mo--ns still in charge?
