Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

My plea to Boeing

Dear corporate leaders, you have factories full of smart and capable machinists and mechanics. For the sake of our livelihoods, the future of the PNW, and the enduring legacy of Boeing- please, please stop outsourcing our work. It delivers shoddy parts, results in rework and groundings, and brings global embarrassment. I still care about the company, and every bad sensor, decision, and body join chips away at my pride and purpose. We can build good aircraft- let us. Upvote if you agree.

As long as they get by with blaming plane crashes on untrained pilots, they will continue to outsource.

Um for the original Poster. If you have not figured it out yet, Boeing no longer exists. It's the McDonnell Douglas Company. Long ago, the McD Overseer Lords back in St Louis and Chicago were named the appointed Lords to run the Company. Need proof? Look at the level of the toxic culture throughout the company. Nothing to this level existed at heritage Boeing prior to the merger in 1997, of coarse back then there was some bad parts of the company to work in but nothing compared to the current level. Seems like the McD overseeing Lords rather keep St Louis and Charleston SC around compared to PNW Boeing.

Boeing makes safety change, Indonesian airline cancels order
https://www.newagebd.net/article/68112/boeing-makes-safety-change-indonesian-airline-cancels-order

Indonesian airline Garuda said on Friday it would cancel a $6 billion order for
Boeing 737 MAX jets, citing concerns over passenger confidence,
as Boeing tried to quell safety worries by making a previously optional cockpit
warning light compulsory.
National carrier Garuda is the First airline to publicly announce plans to scrap
an order since a total of 346 people were ki---d in 737 MAX crashes in
Indonesia and Ethiopia, leading the world’s entire fleet of the aircraft to be grounded.
Southeast Asia faces a glut of narrow-body aircraft like the 737 MAX and rival
Airbus A320neo at a time of slowing global economic growth and high fuel costs.
“They have been re-looking at their fleet plan anyway so this is an opportunity to make some changes that otherwise may be difficult to do,”
CAPA Centre for Aviation Chief Analyst Brendan Sobie said.

Most large corporations if they were a person would be called a sociopath. The only thing they care about is enriching themselves With a complete disregard to how it affects others.

The law covering corporations need to be changed starting with corporations should not be allowed to buy a backstock to artificially raise the stock price and CEOs should not be paid in stock options who then financial benefit from that arrangement

Yeah I don’t think they care. If they could replace you with a robot 🤖or trained monkey 🐒 they would.

uhmmmm....hello....newsflash....they don't care about you or any other employees, the PNW, Boeing's legacy etc. they never have....you are not an asset despite all your hard work and dedication....you are just a cost that needs to be minimized by moving your job overseas. The only thing that matters is the stock price and the obscene executive compensation packages.

Nice try, but this is the same board that put profits over safety. They're definitely not going to care about any of that
