China Unveils Its First National Passenger Aircraft—Rivaling Airbus and Boeing

With more than $72 billion in state support, China’s commercial airline is set
to operate roughly 1,000 new Comac C919 airplanes, due to take flight before
the end of this year.
The airline industry is dominated by European planes like the Airbus and the
American-made Boeing, which are now battling the aviation market against
China’s aircraft manufacturer Comac.
The company has been testing a new passenger jet called the C919 for
short-haul flights, and the C929 for long-haul.
It’s all part of the Chinese government’s Made in China 2025 strategy,
which aims to reduce China’s dependence on foreign technology.

Jim Cramer on Boeing: “I’m sick of what’s happening”
https://invezz.com/news/2021/07/13/jim-cramer-on-boeing-im-sick-of-whats-happening/

  1. Boeing to slash production and delay deliveries of its 787 Dreamliners.
  2. Jim Cramer lashes out on the aero plane manufacturer's management.
  3. Boeing shares opened 2% down and slipped another 1.5% later on.

The Boeing Company’s 787 Dreamliner made headlines again on Tuesday
as the twin-aisle airliner came up with a new defect.
Until the matter is resolved, Boeing said it will slash production rates and
delay deliveries of over 50% of the already produced Dreamliners.

Jim Cramer’s comments on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street”
“They’re so lucky that it’s just Airbus, they’re blessed by the duopoly.
If this was Morgan Stanley versus Goldman Sachs versus JPMorgan,
they’d be losing share left and right.
What I can’t believe is the endless stream of bad news.
I’d like to see Mr Calhoun spend a little more time on the factory floor
and a little less elsewhere.
The question is, do they have the money right now to be able to do fine
or do they need to do an equity offer.”

“Mr Calhoun on the factory floor”.
What a joke, the man wouldn’t know a skin from a spar
A rivet from a fastener A wide body from A narrow body
That’s why we are in the shape were in
Wall Street Bankers, paper pushers, running what was an engineering company
Their running it all right, right into the ground
