Anyone else heard about a possible offer in coming in October. Seems like they are doing everything they can to push people out before the end of the year.

She's not wrong though. The best left with the first rounds of MVO. I've been struggling at queen ever since because I can't keep up with the technology but still need a few more years. The guys who used to help me are all gone.
"there will never be another MVO. the good employees took the $$ and ran the first time. that left the laziest of the lazy to manage. they will continue to offer a terrible work environment to help push things along. it doesnt matter the company doesnt matter anymore. could go away and nobody would notice. it's a joke "
Are you the same di-k that keeps mentioning that everyone pay for their own healthcare. Put your message where it belongs there buddy
There won’t be any offers before the retirees leave due to the lost subsidy. He’s keeping that a choice to avoid paying severance.

You're looking back right now. You left a year ago and you're on an AT&T message board.
I took the craft SIPP offer in August 2020 - and never looked back.
I don't know how management/HR would know how many MR75 will retiring at the end of the year - why turn in your papers in July? I have heard rumors they will ask MR75 retirees to submit paper work by September so HR can handle the load.
All the severance money was spent on the last $50,000 plus sipp voluntary severance premium offer for craft in 2020. The debt will not allow any future offers. Glad I took the 50 grand plus sipp and was already a couple years past MR75. Started a new job two months later that includes a retirement plan. Component level electronic technician jobs are still available in the aviation industry due to FAA regulations. Most other electronics jobs are low pay now. Beats installing Gpon in the hood any day. I think they decided to give some residential installs to SSIM because the wire techs weren’t getting the jobs done. Good luck
There will not be an offer for craft! You’re dreaming or hoping for something that just isn’t coming! Sorry to burst your bubble, but T needs craft in most areas of the business and management is OK with techs sitting around with no work. It’s in the annual budget!
If he had a brain, Nope, he would have made that offer early in the year so as to save people from collecting 90k+ just twiddling thumbs and then could have went about his business I know I have no incentive to go above a beyond in this environment
Stanky said he isn’t doing an MVO. He basically said we are over paid.
In my opinion other than the few impacted my the health benefit change there is no reason to leave. Folks will continue to stay around for the paycheck. When they are eventually forced out they will retired eligible. I know my AVP has stated there are a lot leaving, but my guess is the interest rate impact to the pension is likely more of a reason to leave. Again the health care change applies to a low percentage of employees and if one has accumulated enough wealth and can put up with the BS staying for the paycheck may be worth the gamble.
Keeping my fingers crossed for an offer for craft Just standard severance but with our contract up next April they may threaten to eliminate the pre 65 medical subsidy for retiree eligible employees. If the Union has half a brain they will go along with it only if those eligible are offered packages as the Union cannot bargain for retirees anyway. Should be interesting
Exactly that, just another rumor. They're gonna wait until the actual number rolls in from those leaving on their own due to benefits lost after this year!
They already know that a bunch of people are leaving before the end of the year. I doubt they are going to just give up money when they know that everyone is leaving.
There won't be any offer. The company has stopped offering a carrot for you to leave. They now only offer a stick if you stay. I heard a rumor that because of the loss of vacation days and the insurance premium subsidy, 14,000 have retired already this year and that number will accelerate as we get closer to the end of the year.
Yes my director mentioned his AVP talked about an MVO before year end to get more out the door as the changes in pension and healthcare subsidy impacted very few
An Offer? You mean like the same rumor of an offer that has been going around for the past 7-10 years that never materializes? The days of offers are long gone. T realizes it is too easy to just walk us out without any offer!
Investors are looking for an offer too.
the result will be a company filled with sub-standard, weak, ineffective, mealy employees
That's what you have at the top, so why should the bottom be any different?
There hasn't been a decent offer in years. If you get laid off, you'll get the minimum severance and a boot out the door like everyone else.
Stink's new strategy is reduction by attrition. By creatinge a toxic, hateful, repulsive, uncomfortable, and rotten place to work he's driving away tenured employees who still have faint memories of T as a decent (if still problematic) place to work.
The result is that those employees who meet MR75 will bail. Employees who clearly see the abysmal workplace will leave. Employess who have dignity will leave. Employees with marketable skills will leave. In short, anyone other than the brainwashed T-suckers will leave.
It's a self-selected layoff this time. Of course, the result will be a company filled with sub-standard, weak, ineffective, mealy employees grateful for whatever crumbs Stink gives them.
Wheee!
no
Nary a word. I can't see them making an offer, they don't have the cash.
Why would the megalomaniac Stinky offer an MVO when a large percentage of the 14,000 management employees that are MR75 eligible will be leaving in the 4th quarter?
