Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Meeting regarding mindsets

Did anyone else attend the town hall meeting featuring the guy telling us not to be the victims in the current Chevron bad work environment? It seems people like JG and others want to focus on mindset and not playing the victim then actually fixing the major issues going on.

The HR meeting with that consultant was definitely a change your mindset and forget all the problems that are going on meeting. I loved the slide basically saying embrace the issues showing a guy grabbing barbed wire. Definitely feels like we are all grabbing barbed wire barehanded right now.

Anything or any fad that does not concentrate on honing people's technical skills to perform their job is just a distraction.

JG is a charlatan, a walking, talking bag of hot air. Like someone just commented, he’s a narcissistic little man who has the ability to con his way around and bully his underlinings. Not the embodiment of what The Chevron Way is supposed to be. Why is this guy still on the payroll?

The HR meeting with the guest speaker? Glad I am not the only one who noticed the gaslighting.

So glad I’m gone. They are only concerned about how the company looks (flavor of the month) and no concern for how they perform.

More corporate psychology bullish!t. Much like HR, not designed to help the employee, but help the company gloss over problems and ensure productivity. Anyone that has ever met or worked near JG knows he a little narcissist a$$ho-e. Everyone h@tes that guy. If he were on fire, no one would pi$$ on him.

I first met JG at CLF 15 years ago. Not in his part of the organization but from what I have heard, he has not changed. He was a bully at CLF (yeah, great attribute to mimic). So when you say JG wants to fix things, I will believe that when I see it. And exactly what does he want to fix?
