Would u rather work 5 eight hour days or work 4 ten hour days? Would be nice to have 3 days off in a roll every week.

They act like your an Alien when you have 2 in a "roll"...what makes you think they're going to give your blue vest wearing tail 3?!
most of the weak whiners here struggle through an 8 hour shift. no way they could do 10 hours.
He-l I just love two days off in a row.
Why not plan your day around your breaks, you plan your week around your job.
You plan your day around your breaks....that's sad.
The 4 day work week sounds great until you have to work it.
Lets start with the fact your breaks will still be two 15 minutes on clock and a 30 minute off clock.
Speaking of breaks so now when you do your last 15 instead of having 2 hours left to work you will have doubled it to 4 hours. Plenty of time for you to do some extra cleaning and tasks before the end of your shift.
Also on a standard 8 hour day if your commute time is around 30 minutes both ways you will now be away from your home for 11 hours on your work days versus 9 hours.
Keep in mind if you work lets say right now is 6am to 2:30pm with the 10 hour day you would either get extended to 4:30pm or have to come in at 4am. That is if you stay on block scheduling.
Lets also not forget if you are not happy currently working 8 hours how is adding 2 hours to your work day going to improve your mood?
Saying the 3 days off will make up for everything else is being somewhat delusional about your work day.
Finally even if you were approved for a 4 days at 10 hours chances are it will involve the weekends and you might even be asked to start mid morning so you are covering for the am and pm shifts.
We had an overnight manager who would put his 50 to 55 hours a week in 3 and a half days and take the rest of the week off since a lead covered nights anyways. I personally would love 4 10 hour days
I’d love to do the 10 hour days with 3 days off. I don’t care if they’re in a ‘roll’ as you say. I just need that third day off for things going on in my personal life!
Yes it would be great to have 3 days off in a row. SAM'S can't even give most people 2 days off in a row!
