Is it correct to say that this company is a good stepping stone? I think it used to be and that those who came here a long time ago took advantage of the good work here and ended up getting much better jobs in much better companies. However, I’m not sure if it’s still a good starting point today when building a career.

Depending on your experience and accomplishments while you are there it may not hurt you, but it certainly won't help.
CVE was once the best place to work, but now it’s the worst place to work in downtown Calgary.
Finance and IT are all brutal now, but there is hope as jobs keep opening up in those fields.
I don’t want this company name tainting my resume for another year of my career.
