Was on a call with my manager last week. Someone asked about pay rises and the conversation became all Salvino like. Long on "you knows" and very short on detail.
Has anyone had a pay rise? Know someone who has had a pay rise? If so what did they get as a percentage?
My last vestiges of hope hang on the pay rises Salvino has been talking about for the last twenty months.
If anything they’ll give you a 1-3% bonus depending on your FY 21 downgraded review. Want a raise, get a promotion or a new job.
here in ANZ I heard that many managers have been given a few thousand $$ to allocate to their teams. In many cases this will mean that individuals who get anything will get about $700 the rest zero.
Hope this isn't true as getting such a small amount is more insulting than getting nothing
I would need a 15.6% raise just to keep up with inflation , so I am effectively making 15.6% less since my last raise. 3% would be the 2nd lowest raise in my 50 years in IT.

I left over a year ago, and seems nothing has changed.
My manager has said that the potential rises are being reviewed centrally at the moment and that they should be communicated any day. I am not holding out much hope for anything worth talking about though as this seems to have been just another broken promise from Mikey Mk2.
