It feels like the leadership team is asleep at the wheel. Not much, if any, information being shared. I expected more direction discussion after the announcements of spinning off DTV and WM. I guess this is the way things will be at T under the current leadership team.

Selling DTV and TW at a major loss?
Surplussing over 50K employees in 5 years?
Stagnant stock performance?
Losing ground in 5G spectrum?
Implementing corrupt and predatory fees and penalties?
Losing video subscribers at a rate almost twice that of the industry?
Not being able to expand a fiber footprint?
Falling into a very distant third place among major US mobile services?
Having the CEO be publicly ridiculed for incompetence and mismanagement?
Eviscerating employee benefits?
Are those some of the things that are getting done without fanfare?
That's what happens when the executives are doing a good job. You just wonder "what happened" while things just get done without fanfare.
The problem, I think, is that the senior c-suite execs have finally run out of strategies for lying to the employees about the current situation.
Think about their recent performances. It's reached a point where Stink will only do pre-taped lying, while the others have been reduced to simply saying they won't talk about things anymore because it's clear nobody believes their lies.
And so, the top execs have given up on gaslighting. And if T execs can't lie to the employees, what on earth would they ever say?
That might be a good thing.
