Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

It is all about the money and your life

Here it is late on Tuesday, July 6rh We are under a hurricane warning. You call the plant closing number and you get a message from July 4 at like 8:45 am telling you the plant is open for normal business. Hello!!!!!???? Even when you ask your manager you get told to come in on your normal shift time. Hello?????? Drive in the dark to get to work in a hurricane, hit a pond of water, end up in a ditch. Bridges are closing at 6pm. Guess what - we are atill open! Honeywell may close soon, but right now, we know money means more than your life to them.

It was a rain storm. No reason to complain.

Good luck checking for occupied seats. Our sites are at 50 percent staff with entire buildings just left empty. With 30k people laid off from the DM sites over last 5 years social distancing is not a problem. ( yes that is the approximate number.. do the math and account for growth at India and especially Mexico locations).

Honeywell doesnt care about your safety. Make sure you get your unpaid mandatory overtime in. Nevermind the state hurricane warnings. Upper management need new mansions and luxury cars. Get your 20% unpaid overtime in and we wont lay you off next month.

But they have a great video on the Home page about how important work / life balance is and how it is up to you to achieve it. I guess they figure they're covered.

The ALT never thinks practical things through. It's only about money, the current quarter and, of course, their bonuses. Completely clueless and tone deaf.

You need to go in at all and any costs.

Remember a few years back when his HHR DC visited?

No more WFH, hundreds RIF’d.

AD will be checking in via TEAMS to make sure all seats are occupied.

Island shopping not for a few years until the well is dry.
