Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

I think I will last longer than them

There's no way I'm just leaving here without severance pay. It's ridiculous how much they try to get me out of here without severance pay using various subtle tricks. They are very creative when it comes to that. I believe they do the same things to many of us, just to get us to leave as soon as possible without severance pay? However, no. Unfortunately for them, it won't be hard for me to last until RIF. The only exception I'll make is if I get a much, much, much better offer.

Honeywell underpays its employees to much its unbelievable. dont expect a very generous severance either. its 1 weeks pay per year worked with a minimum of a 4 week payout. think about that, you work 4 years of your life at Honeywell, they underpay you all 4 years, they abuse their employees and demand free unpaid overtime, and then they give you a pauperly severance. Honeywell is a complete joke of a company.

Dont hold out for a severance. Just leave ASAP, find a new job and retain your self respect and dignity. Thats worth more than than 3 pennies and coupon to Walmart that Honeywell will give you.

Don't be a severance wh_re.
They've already got you in a bad and unproductive state of mind.
I know how that feels.
Just find another job and leave this mess of a company behind.
Enjoying your work and good treatment at a different company is the best revenge.
Don't waste another minute at this he-l ho-e.

Corporate lawyers are already arguing to end severance pay. There is no law that requires it in the US ( different story in other countries).

Personally I will refuse severance as I don’t need it or Honeywell pension. Hoping to make it a hobby to sue Honeywell for the remainder of my retirement. Just waiting until my black book is sufficiently full. I need another year.
