There has been little to no communication from leadership on what our future holds.
The reason - lack of true leadership.
Another possible reason is what most people suspect - the future here can only get worse.
Another reason is that they are not at all interested in the concerns of their employees. In addition, some leaders think the more they withhold the more power they hold, but the opposite is true.
Corporate, All they want is reduced cost of labor. No way they would be communicating that strategy to any of us. Communicating to WS is much more important to them. Other than that they throw out impossible to hit goals and tell the sites to make it happen. They want cash, not employees.
There are no leaders in the e-suite at Honeywell, only empty shells of management. And there are very few leaders in general. The may start out that way, but they're put on a very short leash by Dariu$ and his gang of bobblehead dolls.
There is zero empowerment at HW. Everything is decided at the very top. Without empowerment, there is no ownership throughout the organization. Know you know why nothing works well and people are so unhappy. It will not change, go find something else. It's quite refreshing,
That is, why would they want to help you...
The ones at the top don't want you to know what they are actually doing, which is bleeding the company's assets to prop up the stock price so they benefit at the expense of you, the suppliers, and the customers. Why would they want you to help you catch on to their game?
They don’t communicate because they don’t know. Our leaders are nothing special and have no more insight than you or I.
If you are expecting vision and forward thinking you are in the wrong place.
They take their bets without putting too much on the table. They never, ever, ever spend their own money. This is how you know a leader is invested by the way… are they will to put their own cash on the line. Not options, not funny money. Cash in an idea.
The future lies to the east ... not something they want to say in public.
