Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Return to Office

Heard there will be a communication regarding returning to office coming out tomorrow. Seems to be targeting a July timeframe. Any info out there?

I got one from SVP Arison that ours is June 7 and it reiterated all the rules of vaccines, masks, social distancing, etc

I've heard a July date as well, and I'm okay with that except I haven't heard about services resuming. At the moment food and beverage services and garbage pickup services are all shut down in my building. I'd like to see them start up again before they have us go back. I don't want to have to leave the building and get in my car to drive someplace just to buy lunch or something to drink.

It is a violation of human rights to separate the vaccinated from the non-vaccinated. Also, in the FAQs, it states that co-workers can encourage each other to get vaccinated and state their reasons. Someone my group got the Moderna V and all her hair is falling out. No thanks.

Seems like discrimination to require non-vax to wear a mask and allow VOX to not. Isn’t there a HEPPA violation here.

I am choosing the flex worker option with working one day a month on the office. Total sh-t show at work trying to figure out who’s vaccinated.

July for Flex schedule. Most devs can WFH through end of the year at DTV. Many have moved away from El Segundo anyway... plus two less buildings AT&T leased there so not everyone is returning even if they wanted.

We've been told the NJ employees will return to work in July . My organization is giving us the flex-worker option, so we can continue working some days each week from home. We haven't gotten any firm direction yet regarding the number of days in-office.

Will there be a Bloody Mary vending machine in the building? A Bloody Mary works wonders on all of those re org meetings!!

If your management hasn’t told you you’re virtual you’re most likely going back in to the office especially if you work at HQ. Depending on your department they have been communicating virtual status for months now.

Hey, I don't work when I'm at work.
So, It matters not.
Best I can tell there's no one working from the janitor all the way up to VP level at least.

Cheers, drinking another beer.
