Some of the OC-12 simplex alarms could be from no commercial power at a building on that ring. If its not rented sometimes the property managers turn off the power to save money. Seen it many times before, you may get access but without power the batteries discharge anyway.

In FL I work in a CO. I often see troubles in the outside field from there. I cannot refer tickets to them. They on;y work other prioritized tickets sent to them. And the IOF is short handed. I often get automated tickets. So I have OC12s on simplex because digital techs get no tickets to work on them. They won't work on anything unless they get a ticket. And the tickets that I refer to them never make it to them.

Were busy in nc can't even keep up with troubles. But there's only 40 of us left in the state. Down from about 120 of us 10 years ago.
