I think it is time all Key carrying Team Leads need to call Nation labor Relations. We have been forced by Sam's to work off clock every time we open and close the building. I figure 5 to 10 minutes a day. Since in reality as soon as you pull in parking lot you are to make sure the area is safe. You are supposed to drive around building and then open door and turn off alarm while not punched in. Then if it is before 9 minutes till you still have to wait or get half a point.

erox, why don’t you just block them? I did and he was the GM😂 He told me that he knew I blocked him because he tried to text me. I wasn’t in trouble at all.
We have a group text with all 4 merch leads and the 2 merch managers. Any given day I will have 20 or more messages. Often asking you to do things at your next shift or letting you know something about work. I've asked to email me or use MyClub app if it's about work because the group text is ruining my days off because all day I sit and think about work. They still text me. IT NEVER STOPS.
I swear most of the posts on here are made by complete id--ts. Like everyone else has said there is an ETA screen for a reason. No one is forcing you to work off the clock du----s

They can't force you to work off the clock? That's your own fault for actually doing it, Like most people said go in and do a time adjustment.If for some reason they are not trying to pay you(which I doubt) I'm sure the store has camera's so it wouldn't be hard to match up your time that you start and end working. I wish a manager would try an force me off the clock to perform work. They would be getting laughed at in the face. I don't do extra unless I'm getting O.T.

I feel team leads should be salary since they are the biggest waste of payroll. Then you wouldn't have to cry about all the extra duties off the clock.

to the original poster, if you are a lead, you probably have one of the sorriest departments in the market. you aren't a leader. you are a whiner. step down & let someone that sets an example of hard work take your place. i bet you call out with a hang nail.

Team leads should never have that kind of responsibility. Many of them are not trust worthy!
I have to agree with the above. Just adjust your time, if you feel the need.

- You would not get a half point for tardy unless your managers are id--ts
