So how many have gotten the jab? Do you think pressure will come for associates to get vaccine since we lead in healthcare? I think so. I don’t want vaccine. I am aware I am in the minority and I know my time here will end if they demand a vaccine to be employed. What others on my team have gotten the vaccine they post it as reason they are out of office. Just myself and another coworker don’t want vaccine. Just waiting around here until they demand it and they will likely have to lay me off or fire me since I just don’t want it. What’s everyone’s estimate of how long it will be until it’s a demand and condition for remaining employed here?

Some additional info to ponder ...
1) Blood Clots - “Six cases is a small number, considering that over 6.8 million Johnson & Johnson shots had been administered as of April 12” - show me a dr-g on the market that doesn’t have a list of side affects an arms length and have these odds.
2) Plasma - “There are claims circulating that incorrectly state that the Red Cross will not accept convalescent plasma donations from those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine because “the vaccine wipes out those antibodies making the convalescent plasma ineffective in treating other COVID-19 patients.” This is not accurate.”

3) Why worry - “ Very few people—about three out of 100—who get two doses of measles vaccine will still get measles if exposed to the virus.” - It’s a numbers game. More people vaccinated, less chance of getting sick. No vaccine is 100% - even Measles.
@4kdp+1b2bqXDo - you sound more like a turkey than a sheep
Suggest you stop taking in your info from facebook and read a little. An EUA has went through a clinical trial and is approved. If we wait for full approval, which consists of facility inspections, etc. then we wouldn’t be having this discussion about going back to work.
If you haven’t gotten the vaccine then you haven’t done your part and should not benefit from those of us that have. This pandemic has shown how selfish, self absorbed and gullible our society has become.
“In order for these vaccines to have received an EUA, Banerjee says they already underwent a rigorous process. “In order to issue an EUA, it needs to be proven that the vaccine may be effective in preventing a serious or life-threatening condition and that the vaccine’s known and potential benefits can outweigh its known and potential risks,” Banerjee says.
He adds that the FDA issued an EUA based on the safety and efficacy data from a large, phase three clinical trial, underscoring the safety and effectiveness of the currently authorized COVID-19 vaccines.“

Hey guy who thinks people not taking the vaccine are flat earth / anti vaxers. You have us wrong - we’re just not sheep.
You know what’s so great and IMPORTANT about science? Peer review. It should be challenged, and tested, and trialed, and re-tested. I mean, why bother testing ANY vaccines moving forward? Just shoot everyone up for whatever ails them. You know why vaccines have trials and why approvals take years? Because the ends justify the means. If they didn’t take years, pharma would fast-track everything and save themselves hundreds of millions in R&D. Use your brain.
I will not take it until it’s no longer experimental. COVID was not even as bad as the flu - I’d have it again before I’d be a guinea pig. Plus, studies are showing that natural antibodies last longer and are better than vaccine antibodies. I’d also like to know why an insurer who is “improving the health of humanity” isn’t suggesting titer tests for those who had COVID. Maybe we only want to improve the health of humanity through big pharma? Pass.
To whomever made the snide remark about protecting others - I expect to see you running around the cafeteria slapping fries and hamburgers and junk food out of people’s hands. You know, to save lives. Want to talk about dangerous? Obesity. Heart disease. Type 2 diabetes. And they are so dangerous that they don’t need their deaths reported as fuzzy math (pneumonia, influenza, COVID - all reported as COVID deaths on the CDC website - look for PIC). If you don’t bring that energy to all other aspects of life, then keep it to yourself now too.
Two of us in our department don’t want vaccine - so we are prepared to leave anytime. We see people have died post vaccine. We also don’t want it as not Federally approved. But it’s also good excuse to exit this place by being forced out as then we can get unemployment. So trust me we are happy to go once the mandate takes effect. We out! 😁 and we are employees less than 2 years here. We hate it
I so love Anthem. Thus proving that people most at Anthem are angry and insulting if you don’t agree with them. Love watching this convo and thanks for all who have signed on. OP here. I’m thrilled to leave this place just wAiting for the right time 😁
I will continue to work from home until a vaccine mandate is made for returning to the office. This sh-t has dragged out long enough due to the anti-science/flat earth id--ts.
The amount of sh-t you intake on a daily basis is much scarier than a vaccine. Covid definitely has long term effects that’s been proven. Vaccine - scientifically insignificant.
Don’t need to be working in healthcare if you can’t reason and are against science.
Yeah, I'm definitely not believing your made up story about your imaginary friends Further I'll shame anyone and everyone that puts our healthcare workers, people unable to be vaccinated and immunocompromised individuals at risk because of some nonsense they read and spread on Facebook.
I'll take my information from the 4 people I know that actually worked on the Moderna vaccine. Two of them took it right away and two of them have thus far refused. The QA Lead and the Lab Tech Lead took it and the Project Manager and Biochemical Engineer did not. They each have their own feelings about it. Like I said, I took it, but with misgivings. For those that wish to take it, great!. I would never shame anyone for taking it or not taking it. It's their decision Believe what you will... more power to you.
You don't understand how vaccines work. It's not something that stays in your body forever that may indefinitely cause you problems. Quit spreading your nonsense. It provokes and immune response. That's it. There are not going to be problems years down the road like fud you're spreading. And any significant short term problems would have been identified by now.
Sure, they've been tested on more people now that half of US adults have been inoculated, if you want to count it that way. There is absolutely no way that it was tested sufficiently before it was put into general use. You can count everyone who has received it as a test subject all you want. You won't have actual, verifiable, clinical results until several years down the road. That's why the testing process is designed to take so long. It takes years. Weeks of testing is just not scientific at all. And shame on YOU for implying that it is.
No, the covid vaccines have been tested on more people than any other. And shame on you for spreading this nonsense: "They're more than certain that there will be repercussions down the road."
8 people quit on the BH UM team. 3 people quit on the BH UM concurrent team. Workload is overwhelm. To be fired or laid off for not getting vaccine would be glorious exit and I pray that happens to me so that I can get unemployment
Do you know why the pandemic is still considered an "emergency" in the US? Its because it's the only way that they can legally allow for the vaccine to be given. All forms of it are still considered experimental and will be for quite a while. There is absolutely no way that there was sufficient testing conducted. That takes years, close to a decade in many cases, not weeks. There's a reason why all of the companies involved in it were granted liability waivers. They're more than certain that there will be repercussions down the road.
There are a TON of reasons NOT to get the vaccine, whether you are healthy or have underlying conditions. I made the choice to get it, mainly for travel purposes and with a lot of misgivings, but I would never force or demand or shame anyone into getting it. If you feel comfortable getting it, then by all means, go ahead. Then you'll have nothing to fear from those who don't.
It's my understanding that everyone that has a firm grasp on high school level science and an empathy towards other humans have gotten the vaccine already (where available and barring any medical conditions that preclude it).
They're not going to fire you for not knowing any better. They should but they wont.
