I understand people who come here for advice on whether they should hang on or quit, since sometimes an outside opinion of somebody in the know can help, but don't make your decision based on that. This is something you should be deciding with your wife/husband. Use this as a sounding board, but please, don't make any life-altering decisions based on the advice of total strangers.

I agree. Would you recommend HON to your child as a career path?
What about any other recent university graduate?
Only time would be if they were desperate for a job and the caveat would be ‘ don’t stop looking’.
Sad but true.
I get that a disgruntled employee may give bad advice based on their situation. On this sight I have looked for and found consensus that Honeywell is a short term career decision. There is enough evidence to show Honeywell is a dead end short career.
And if I stay it will be double

My experience is that at honeywell ALL life changing decisions are made by total strangers.
Strangers decided to freeze my pension in 2015 and cancel pension health care benefits for life. Strangers changed 401k to once a year match in 401k destroying time value averaging and ruining returns. Strangers decided to skip roof maintenance for 20 years allowing black mold to grow unchecked for decades under the floor of my office despite my complaints and attempts to move. Seems pretty life changing to me.
Forget advise .. as a lifetime honeywell employee i am more comfortable just taking a poll and doing as im told.
I had already decided to leave within few years but this platform confirmed that only the environment of my LOB is not toxic but it’s pretty rampant over Honeywell. When I got the offer from other company, the first thing I did is to look for them on layoffs and except few comments I have not found anything negative, and hence finalized the offer. Thank you everyone!
Agree with @bzz. Extra ammunition for the side we've already chosen never hurts.
Most people already know if they will stay or leave. They are just looking for confirmation.
