Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Truth

Employers like US Bank are ideally looking for an employee with the wisdom of a 50 year old, the experience of a 40 year old, the drive of a 30 year old, and the pay scale of a 20 year old.

If this isn't true, I don't know what is. They want all of this and then some. Shocking that we are having trouble hiring.

I'm sure those balmy Minnesota winters push the bank ahead of those frigid conditions in Charlotte and San Francisco and the frozen tundras of Birmingham, Atlanta and Dallas

The incredibly poor TOS management is known to everyone in technology. Add in the RIFs, low-pay, long hours, lack of direction, extremely old technology, no training, no SMEs, complex construction, why would anyone work for USB. Only candidates without any other options apply.

Can you name anything about TOS that would lure anyone away from another company? No. There is absolutely nothing attractive about working in TOS and those that work there are all looking to leave. Time to off-shore more work!
