Question regarding getting upgrades and credits. I realize the front end are constantly being told get upgrades, get credits. Does that also include the ancillary departments such as optical and jewelry? While I realize that all should attempt to get members to upgrade and get a credit card, I did not think other areas were held to the same standard as the front end.

How do you expect a floor partner or an associate in bakery, produce, gas, carts, etc. to get upgrades and credit? Are they supposed to run over to a register or membership to use an I Pad they re not trained on to run credit? No No and NO again.
Lol licensed professionals! Anyone can do that job. They can have the maintenance lady trained for optical in a couple of weeks! When optical is phased out guess who will still be working there.... yup that cashier who's job duty is to get credits and upgrades. Get out of here with that BS! 😂😂
ALL areas are supposed to be contributing to upgrades and credits! It is not just the front ends job! It is everyone's job to contribute but somehow they think it is only the front end!
I never understood why tire and battery didn't have to ask for plus or credit. Our optical does get a few here and there, so does our pharmacy.
Optical is told to ask about upgrading and credit BUT we are LICENSED PROFESSIONAL Employees and it is not a requirement for our job to do that! When you work on the front end that is part of your job responsibilities
