Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

How can this be happening?

How can we have people who have been here for well over two years and still don't know what their daily duties are and how to do them. It's mind boggling not only that these people exist but that they're still employed! I know our SM notices this and he does nothing about it. Why???

There a warm body !!! Had to put up with people saying they didn't know that was part of my job, I would just look at them and say really who else is going to do your part of the job NOT ME. Bakery was bad they would come in we would have to train them and it went in one ear and out the other, the next day they would act like they didn't know. Got so tied of telling them what to do so I started complaining to my team lead, that worked because she wouldn't take BS from no one & hated lazy people she would give them a few chances if that didn't work they were in another dept. or gone. It was to much work for a lot of people ,detailed work that they couldn't wrap there head around.

i agree there are folks who lie but there are many who are never trained properly. My pet peave is that someone could work there a year and not know how to make a bail or even run the bailer.

I'm tired of the lazy worker, who leaves their mess for us to clean up, knowing that it has to be cleaned before we can leave at night. How many times are they going to "talk" to the associate before management realizes this associate is not going to change. The rest of us are tired of complaining and tired of doing all the work.

Tired of the lazy associate ordering the rest of us around, like they're the boss. I mean, you're steady trying to clean their mess, in a section no one else uses but the lazy one, and the lazy person tells you to go wait on a member.....loud enough for the member to hear, so you can't say anything. All you can do is go wait on the member, so the member doesn't see the friction.

I don't even want to go to work when this person is there.

I'll be honest...

Some people lie.

Example: A maintenance associate says "I didn't know I had to run a scrubber over wet spills. No one told me"

Example: a meat associate says "I didn't know I had to put away the load. No one told me"

Example: a Member assist says "I didn't know I had to sweep the loading dock. No one told me"

All lies
