Even with his family’s immensely corrupt wealth and connections, I think Daley is a dinosaur and afterthought these days in social, business, political and media circles. Whatever lewd and disgusting back scratching his family and Chaz Bono Scharf’s family have, I think the politicians and voters consider Daley a flunkie has-been id–t of a corrupt and overall unaccomplished crooked family.
What matters most is the size of his cash pile . He's the man who can grease palms of evil politicians

He has always been a well–connected corrupt political hack. Without the family he'd be doing some minimum wage job somewhere, and would probably be an under performer at that as well.
mfr+1azgCPAF completely agree. I've been in smaller meetings with BD and it stuns me 1) how arrogant this guy remains and how frequently he name drops. It is so self–serving, and 2) how clueless he is about working with media. It is embarrassing.
Daley must be kept around , let’s be honest, a big part of getting the cap lifted is showing NYC and DC Elites that we are now good corporate citizens and will fall in line with the ruling class and talking points on all matters. This will ultimately be part of the FRB decision to lift the cap.

Bill Daley makes Forrest Gump look like Albert Einstein. Which begs the question – why does Chainsaw owe this loser clown so much that he brings him to two companies that Chainsaw has now mismanaged as CEO?
I met Bill Daley a few times. The man is a complete and utter id––t. And anyone who hears him speak knows that to be true. I’m sure his Obama gig was a payoff as Daley comes from a corrupt family that wanted the costly but incompetent family member taken care of. Which leads to the question: why does Charlie keep hiring and protecting this ja––––s?
