Would I want friends or family to come work here, with the arrogant and abusive way that AT&T has treated their long term employees? No chance!

If you really want to aggravate them, just ignore the survey. For whatever reason, no response is worse than a bad response. Just delete the email and forget about it.

Phew! But didn’t they tell you in 2014–15 to expect reductions in headcount — somewhere around 40%? Were you listening? Where is it written that the company, or any company for that matter, will never make changes to employee benefits? You’re mistaken if you believe that. Other than a paycheck for the work you perform, the company owes you Jack. You have options...you know what they are. Quit the victim role. It speaks to a level of immaturity and a sense of entitlement (unwarranted).
Yes I would recommend my friends and family yo work for AT&T. The only people who have issues seem to be bitter old entitled folks.
I think silence speaks in these surveys. They love large turn out percentage. If a large percentage of folks just refused to take these worthless survey, maybe it would send the message that the emperor has no clothes.
A survey with multiple choice in mind means two things. 1. We don't care what you think or your opinion 2. We only care about metrics, if you provide a bad metric, justify it with text
The surveys are BS, it's just a pretext under which to target "complainers". Give them all A+++ or ignore them, they don't want the truth.
I saw the email but have not done it yet. Is this the same 3 or 4 questions they have been asking almost every quarter for the last 5 or more years. They have been badgering us with the exact same questions every quarter for years. My theory is they will keep asking until they get the answers they want. Some id––t somewhere thinks that if they keep asking the same questions without making any changes that they will eventually get the answers they want, crazy lunatics........... and what is MOST IMPORTANT .................. THESE SURVEYS ARE NOT AT ALL ANONYMOUS !!!!!!!!!!! ..................................
I always take it and give my honest feedback. Sometimes that is pretty scathing, but always professional. I don’t care of no one reads it. I don’t care if it’s is read and traced back to me. I don’t care if you think it doesn’t matter. It probably doesn’t. I don’t care, I do it anyway.

I took it and told them them the truth even before I read this. You can feed them the cr*p you think they want to hear but what makes you think that will make your job any safer than if you tell the truth? How good did that approach work out with everything they've thrown at us over the years? Did the layoffs actually stop? Did your job get any better?
Personally I'd rather give them a piece of my mind whether it makes a difference or not.
Corporate goal is to remove toxic culture. Keep you head down and pay checks coming. A key is work slowdown and missed deliverables. If you keep working an extra 10–20 hours, the pressure will continue until you are exhausted.

There is zero worth in not telling them what they want to hear, zero. My group had morale problems reflected in our surveys for years, instead of trying to manage the issues, they just rebadged the section they thought was the problem. Those of us left behind got the message.
Tell them what they want to hear, these things come back to haunt you in ways you did not expect later.
Nobody stole anything from you or screwed you. Anger has blinded you. Take couple of chill pills.
