Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Are they done with layoffs this year?

Were the 60,000 jobs slashed already?

I didn’t expect layoffs to happen during the pandemic.

If your are not in a hub location then be on alert. Otherwise don’t dwell on something that has not and may not happen.

@ksi+1ar5larp it will be interesting to see how this 'double–mutant' version of Covid impacts India operations.

This job is like a bad relationship, time to move to new one and leave this behind.

I am so happy I got a new position

60000 of your peers are sitting in

India already.

+it grows by 100–400 per week.

The top line # reflects all geographies; it means same amount at least is cut from USA ranks.

Total bank efficiency ratio is already at 70 (down from over 80).

It does not matter – cuts will continue cuz Charlie needs fatter stock options.

I think we peaked around 271K a couple years ago. 261 now, maybe 5–6K since things ramped up? That’s just me ballparking it based on teamworks data so anyone feel free to correct.
