Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Perhaps AT&T's time to shine is about to return - or not

Perhaps AT&T's (T) time to shine is about to return. The company is expected to report results on April 22 before the opening of the trading session. It's not expected to be a strong quarter for the company, with earnings expected to have slumped by nearly 7.4% to $0.78 per share, vs. the same period a year ago. Meanwhile, revenue is expected to drop by around 90 bps to $42.4 billion.

"AT&T is doing a great job in a difficult environment. Glad Stankey is at the helm to keep this ship on the right direction."

This has to be trolling because it's objectively and provably false.

The stock will turn the corner when enough AT&T pension eligible employees get the COVID vaccine. Actually, it will be once the long term side effects are disclosed.

Stanky is doing a great job?!?
T-Mobile is UP, Verizon is UP, and T is downin the toilet laying off by the thousands to cover terrible buys and decisions.
I’m Sorry, but you are the perfect employee/hire for Att, loser mentality!

Thank the BOD for hiring a complete Hollywood nobody/outsider with NO experience to run the largest, most successful studio in existence, great move!
Then double down and give him the freedom to take down not only Warner media, but HBO, snd CNN. ThEN pay him $52 million!
You can’t make this stuff up!

There is a lot of vacant commercial real estate now that so many people are working from home. The revenue drop could be related to business circuits not being renewed.

A dead fish would be an improvement over the current Board of Directors and probably more effective.

I’m looking to see what progress they have made on debt.

How many more losing quarters will we need to endure before the BOD takes some type of corective action? More profit being sucked out of T each and every day, some believe this is fine. Eventually the giant cash generating machine will cease to exist, a real shame!
