Walmart corporate put out a press release stating that Walmart is going to promote and hire more full-time associates and have 8-12 teams working together with a team leader set days off and set hours. I'm confused bc when it comes to our club we have constantly been told we're overstaffed and we have to operate at the minimum head count. Now we are supposed to operate under the hours allotted by the jda schedule each week. Management manipulates the schedule often without notice. You receive texts and calls constantly off the clock. They have openly said certain part timers haven't earned full time bc they aren't working fast enough in fact none of us are working fast enough and bc of that we are to be coached for any little miss. There just seems to be a big disconnect between what Arkansas puts out and how through the management chain its implemented.

The media should be made aware of what they are really doing to Walmart workers but they wouldn’t expose the shady s––t they are doing they would just cover for them. Walmart put out they are hiring more full time workers but didn’t say they discard your availability and days you can work. Basically pushing full timers out the door. Also management is disrespectful and degrading. Hope I find something asap to get out of there.
Wal-Mart is also cutting full timers to 30 to 32 hours per week. They also have to rebid or choose their shifts again. More lies so the liberal media can help cover for them again.
I work at Walmart and there is always a catch! Been with the company for almost 10 years. We were given a schedule and told of we can not work it we will not be guaranteed any hours and will be put down to part time. This schedule that was given to most employees is outside of their availability. So a lot of people had to decline what was given. So new schedule comes out today I have 21 hrs. Just pushing people out the door. They don’t value a loyal employee. They can’t keep employees and now doing this to long term associates is cr—y af. Walmart is a terrible company and they release statements for pr where it’s only half truths and to make themselves look good. AWFUL company and employer.
