If a manager has to sign in so the leads can do schedules, are the leads suppose to be doing schedules. Maybe home office is just too stupid to catch on that Managers have assigned all their task to the leads and are basically sitting in the office running out the clock and cashing those expensive checks.

I have been doing schedules for 20+ years . Many manager changes and everyone of them gives me their sign on . I mean come on the Leads are running the Dept’s and they better understand the business
Leads shouldn't do schedules they don't have access for a reason
Usually the GM just gives his or her sidekick their sign in info and that TL changes or does schedules either to fit their buddies or to pi** off associates they don't like in hopes of them leaving. Been that way for over 5 years.
It's funny that someone thinks that because someone is a salaried manager, some how they are above partiality or anything else you suspect an hourly TL might do. Human is human. It's based on the individual. If anyone, mgr, TL or associate is doing something wrong, someone needs to step up. Corporate doesn't ever step up and deal with their management. However, someone is always there to step up and deal with a TL or associate. But when a manager is never dealt with, the vicious cycle will always continue.
Leads are not suppose to write schedules. The system is suppose to be writing them so that no partiality is shown.
Why have they not given the option to the leads to do the schedules!!
"Placing blame on managers with the changes is not fair. It is home office who is making these changes. TL's do the schedules in our club, they also open the requisitions for jobs and do the coaching. Personally I think this is ridiculous. We have Leads that have no clue as how to do their job correctly."
That's nice and all, but if HO is making these decisions why would a Manager have to sign in. Why wouldn't home office just give access to the leads.
Leads should be doing the scheduling since they are the ones out there running the department they know how many people they need and what the hours they need them plus they know who works and who doesn’t. Why let a manager give someone 40 hours that doesn’t do c––p but a hard worker gets 20
Can't imagine how home office wouldn't know. This has been going on forever.
