Honeywell's long string of divestments is a scathing indictment on management. It's basically a concession that the best thing they can do for the shareholders is sell their business to people who actually know how to manage it. Honeywell will lag in flexible work policies the same way it lags in performance

Bring up fiduciary responsibility. If Dairyboy is f***ing over the shareholders with his anti-science labor policies then he is liable for lost earnings. He has no data to back HIS decision about returning to the office. Just fluff about collaboration. Every time we try to collaborate, management wails about too many people on a charge number! Impossible to not find a lie in every sentence that comes out their mouths.

Remote work is good for the environment, for all the lip service Honeywell pays to sustainability...

Studies show knowledge workers are more productive from home. From a purely logical perspective it probably makes most sense to have knowledge work remotely and non-knowledge work on site.

Honeywell embraces hybrid work. Isn’t that where a job is done 10 percent in DM and 90 percent in EM and billed 150 percent to customer?

Women are a check-the-box at Honeywell. A token HR or Legal SVP here or there during the past 30 years, but that’s it. VP ranks full of know-nothings acting as VP while their directors or sr directors run the organization and themselves ragged for a nice 5 block and a 2% merit. Then there’s the double-minorities who are employed for life no matter how many itar violations occur under their watch. Sad.

Interesting read. Raytheon seems to be keeping their promise re hybrid work which is especially important to women. Would be nice if Honeywell supported their women like this too
