I just wonder what the next stupid move is or will some miracle happen to get things back on track? I’m afraid a lot more stupid moves will follow. Sometimes I can’t believe the moves that are made by those at the top and, unless they were trying to intentionally destroy this company, I’m sure no one would come up with worse ideas.

@1vgi+1aW4aJSm -- I don't see T being 'taken over' as much as I see it being chopped up into bits and sold off little by little, until only the core (mobility and maybe isp) remains. At least it seems that's the surest way for T to be able to be competitive in the next 5 - 10 years.
As it stands now, they are failing at delivering linear television, failing at delivering streaming content, failing at creating content, failing at managing networks and entertainment businesses, failing at their Xander adventure, failing at mobility (both Verizon and T-Mob are drinking our milkshakes on the 5G expansion). failing at delivering internet connection (both V and TM have home 5G wi-fi, as well as fiber, while T can't even get fiber right), and, well, just failing at managing debt and meeting the minimum expectations of shareholders.
I would not be surprised at all to see the next version of T unveiled in a couple of years looking a lot like the version of T that existed about 20 years ago: just a phone company. At least they aren't miserable failures at that.
att is now a prime takeover candidate, can't survive under its own weight, too big to succeed.probably divesting to make it more affordable and attractive to its new owner, t-mobile anyone?
@bjn+1aW4aJSm: OP asks a valid question. If you think we are ignorant and scared, how about YOU share some helpful knowledge and give us all hope for the future of this company?
Or are you an HR troll looking for targets for the next round of layoffs?
Re-org, layoff, outsource. Rinse. Repeat. Dish becomes the 3rd largest wireless carrier.
So much ignorance and fear.
After the deal closes the value of me new TW company will fall! Everybody will be worse off except Stankey!!
You have to question what is included in this spinoff package, payouts to C suite execs I'm sure.
Expect this:
- More layoffs
- Stink and the crew will tell you that this is a good thing and will catapult the company to the top
3 More layoffs
- VPs and above get huge bonuses and double-digit percent raises
- More layoffs
- In 2022 Stink will retire with a 500K per month lifetime guaranteed pension. The Fresh Prince will take over and immediately announce more layoffs.
The c-suite will be given more money from the $43 billion p-t of cash from the merger!
